Refund & Cancellation Policy
Deposits & Payments
To secure your booking, we require a deposit:

Standard Hire: £50 deposit

Marquee Hire: £250 deposit
Please note: Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation. Any remaining balance will be deducted from your final invoice.
The remaining balance for your hire is due 2 weeks prior to delivery.
In some cases, we may also require an additional security deposit, which will be agreed at the time of booking. This is refundable after the hire period, subject to the condition of the equipment.
Cancellations

Deposit: Non-refundable in all cases.

28 days before hire: 50% of the total hire cost is due.

14 days before hire: 100% of the total hire cost is due.
This policy is necessary because we hold stock specifically for each individual booking.
Right to Refuse Delivery / Collection
Bybrook Furniture & Event Hire Ltd reserves the right to refuse delivery or terminate delivery on site if any delivery information provided by the hirer is incorrect or misleading. This includes, but is not limited to:

Deliveries involving stairs, steps, narrow access points, or lifts not previously arranged.

Delivery points located an unreasonable distance from where our vehicles can safely park.

Unsafe or unsuitable delivery conditions.

Any instances of rudeness, abuse, or unacceptable behaviour towards our staff or drivers.
In such cases:

No refund or credit will be issued.

Any additional delivery attempts may incur further charges.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure accurate delivery details and a safe, respectful environment for our staff.
Force Majeure
Bybrook will make all reasonable endeavours to fulfil every contract. However, the company cannot be held liable for variations or non-completion of orders due to:

Acts of God, fire, flood, storms, gale

Civil disturbances or unforeseen circumstances
We strongly recommend wedding/event insurance to cover these types of events.
