Before hiring your marquee, we’ll conduct a detailed site survey to ensure your location is suitable and safe. This will be followed with a CAD drawing of your marquee to help plan the inside layout. It will show you where each table is and how much space everything is likely to take up, including dance floors, entrances and walkways. The solid external structures of clearspan marquees will also prevent the use of internal posts and guy ropes within the marquee giving you a clear open space to celebrate in.
There are two different types of windows available on a clearspan marquee. Both can easily be opened if it’s a hot day and even removed altogether if it’s very hot. Georgian windows are more attractive from the outside and offer a classic look, whereas Panoramic windows really make the most of good views.
It’s usual to position a marquee side-on to a good view and make the most of it with a run of windows. But what if there’s a good view at the end of the marquee too? Using a clear gable (a gable is the triangular shaped bit above the walls at each end of the marquee) combined with panoramic windows really maximises views and light within your marquee.
If you want to wow your guests with a marquee, they would never have dreamed possible then add some clear roof panels. They work especially well if you have a stunning landscape or property that you want to be visible during your event. Deliver a wow by positioning the clear panels over the dance floor area as it gives great views for your guests.
Clearspan or ‘frame’ marquees are the most popular type of marquee on the market. The reason for this is because they are extremely adaptable, very attractive and have a wide range of options both inside and outside. They don’t have interior poles or guy ropes because unlike a traditional or pole marquee they are held up by a strong aluminium frame.
With no obstacles in the way, you’ll have greater freedom in decorating and planning the layout of your marquee.
